A Versatile Performance Level Hybrid Bike for Road and Light Off-Road.
The 2025 Giant Roam 1 is a lightweight and adaptable hybrid bike.
It's designed for riders who want to move freely between city streets, suburban bike paths and gravel trails.
The Roam 1 offers a smooth and confident ride on a variety of surfaces.
It features a comfortable riding position suitable for new and experienced riders. A wide gear range allows you to tackle steep climbs with ease.
And the latest, air spring front suspension smooths out the harshest impacts.
Built for Versatility
Giant's ALUXX-grade aluminium frame strikes the right balance of weight and durability.
The updated frame geometry provides an upright, stable riding position. It's a riding position that works well for fitness, commuting, or weekend exploration.
Buttery Smooth Suspension
It's the best front suspension system Giant has ever used on any Roam model.
Because RockShox is suspension royalty in the bike industry.
Their Paragon Gold RL suspension fork uses air to cushion riders against impacts. Especially on rougher suburban bike paths and trails.
It's made from a combination of aluminium and magnesium to keep weight right down too.
And it also comes with a suspension lock.
Used for when you're pedalling on sealed roads and you need pedalling efficiency.
That's because the suspension doesn't bounce. The bounce absorbs the power you put into pedalling.
There's another area of comfort - the seat post.
The post has a special D-shape that Giant calls D-Fuse.
The D-shape flexes and absorbs impacts. Think of it as micro-suspension. And it's a little more forgiving on the back.
Latest Shimano CUES Gears
The 2025 Roam 1 uses Shimano latest 11-speed CUES gears.
A single front gear is paired to 11 gears on the back. More gears, equals smoother gear shifts. And 11 is only 1 level down from Shimano's 12-speed performance parts.
This means no front derailleur or gear shifter. Eliminating moving parts and reducing maintenance.
Shimano's LinkGlide technology is built into the rear sprockets (or cassette).
It was originally designed for e-bikes, to cope with the extra power and torque from the motor. With more power also comes more wear and tear.
So, LinkGlide components are extremely durable. LinkGlide increases the durability by up to 300%.
