Taking advantage of Karl Mayer seamless knitting machines, Q36.5 has developed a technologically extreme view of the traditional seamless basic layer. Even cyclists who are already familiar with high-performance seamless basic layers will immediately notice the new feeling introduced into this product. Significantly greater elasticity and lesser resistance to movement in all directions, given by the capacity of the Karl Mayer machine to build multiple seamless pipes (most of the sleeveless base layers are still technologically obliged to be sewn around the stonework, for example ). Obviously the removal of all seams (except two brief joining points on the shoulders) greatly increases the comfort of a close-up garment as a base layer. A very harder and less fragile light material, since unlike other seamless machines, Karl Mayer machines are able to develop a real tear-proof jerk. The fabric of the base layer is left without a hem, which further removes the seams from the head: in fact it can be cut and modified as you want the user, without compromising the duration of the product and without the risk of shaking the wires. The mesh "honeycomb" motif is distributed in various densities, along with open mesh sections, mapping the thermal requirements and the regional sudden rate of the body of an athlete. This not only allows the best comfort and protection of the pilot, but also allows to significantly reduce the volume of the product, where possible. The result is a surprisingly pure and minimal basic layer.
